Iris' Courtyard
Iris is a little hidden gem on Main Street in OTR, right by Mr. Pitiful's and across the street from Shadeau Breads. Iris is a quaint coffee shop, but they also serve excellent smoothies, sandwiches (try the salmon & avocado), and a great selection of Myra's soups (mmm, the avgolemono). The place is also wall-to-wall with an incredible selection of books and old vinyls for patrons to browse through, plus free Wi-Fi for the worker bees. But perhaps the super secret of this gem is the courtyard out back. Beautiful and quiet with an awesome abstract wood structure that almost creates a half-cover for the courtyard. Perfect for days when you need to hide from your desk...

Love this place. Sitting down in the courtyard with all the old brick apartment buildings and ivy around you really makes you appreciate how awesome OTR is.
