Frances Kroner heads menu development for the ready-to-eat, take-home gourmet foods, and seasonal catering menu. AKA “Frannie”, many of you may know of her amazing contributions to the Northside community through her three years at Slim’s restaurant, two years managing the Northside Farmer’s Market, and her own brainchild: FEAST-Breaking Bread with the Creatives.
Picnic and Pantry shares the same commitment and philosophy to food quality as Melt. These standards maintain that all foods be free of trans-fats, high-fructose corn syrup, refined sugars & flours, MSG, hormones, antibiotics, and unnatural preservatives.
Some foods, such as eggs, meats, dairy, breads, honey, packaged foods, desserts and half of the fresh produce will be sourced locally, strengthening our local economy. Samples and recipes will be available daily to promote the market’s foods.
