Anderson Ferry by Carl Feldman
In operation since 1817, the Anderson Ferry is a scenic and, believe it or not, fairly quick way to get to/from Cincinnati's west side to/from Kentucky's riverfront. Running year round across the Ohio River, the ferry takes off on the Ohio side from the very end of Anderson Ferry Road at OH-50/River Road. On the Kentucky side you'll find the launch just 3 miles north of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport near the intersection of KY-20 and the River Road.
During the summer months (May-Oct) the ferry runs daily 6A-945P. During the winter (Nov-Apr), it runs 6A-8P. Saturdays and Sundays it opens a little later, 7A and 9A, respectively.
This is a great way to get to or from the airport or if you're just out for a bike ride on a summer afternoon. On the way back to the Westside, stop by Drew's on the River and have a beer.
Cars $4 (Round trip $7)
Motorcycles $2.00
Bicycles $1.00
Pedestrians $0.50
