Park + Vine

Did you know there's an old fashioned General store in downtown Cincinnati? It's old and new fashioned, actually. Dan Korman, the owner and operator of Park + Vine, refers to it as a Green General Store. No matter what you call it, this is one of the most interesting and thoughtfully presented retail shops in the region.

Green it is, with natural, recycled, organic and vegan products ranging from foods to apothecary to books, utensils, bags and more. General it is, too, though, and that's something we don't see much, anywhere anymore.

Customers of Park + Vine come in to buy canning equipment, art, clothing, bicycle gear, non-toxic paints and other home improvement goodies, infant & child products, natural remedies, soaps, lotions, supplements, cold food & drinks, boxed food, snacks, shoes, socks, stationery, cook books and gifts of many kinds. Like any General Store worth its neighborhood salt, it also supports and sponsors many other local organizations and has a reading room's worth of local cards, brochures and publications just inside the front door.
