Maybe you've walked past Main Auction Galleries on West Fourth Street...but unless you were specifically heading there, you probably kept past it without taking notice.
But you should have because not only do they have GREAT furniture, art, and antiques, the auction house is a historic attraction in its own right. Having purchased the gallery in 1870, the Karp family is now in their 5th generation running the firm.
