I'm a writer, maker of sock monkeys, journalist turned sorta-techie, sometime blogger, mother of adult children and former resident of College Hill. I moved to Cincinnati as a college intern...and stayed several decades longer than planned! I've written three books with Richard Rossiter (on stretching to get out of pain). Best advice: when you're bored, get in your car or take a bus and go explore your city. You'll find new stuff every time. Promise! I'm doing it now in my new city of Miami, FL. Moved here in 2011 after reconnecting on Facebook with my old college flame...and realizing life is too short not to be happy. But I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the Queen City of the Midwest.
